Trinity: A Modern Mythos

I am lazy. So, my below post about finishing the 2nd book this year was way off. I am not going to get it done, not unless I slip into a time loop and can cram another twelve months into the four that are left of this year. Somehow, I don't really see that happening.

So, where am I at? Well, considering I haven't touched the book since about April, I haven't really done a whole lot with it. It's only been in the last few days that I've actually started writing again, and finally got chapter 3 completed. I only started it back in, like, March. Half a year to do one chapter. Yeah, that's terrible.

But in the meantime, there are now new quotes on the Misc page, and a new excerpt on the Excerpts page that you can check out, and a new song in the music player. "Anthem of the Angels" by Breaking Benjamin. This song single-handedly brought my inspiration back, so go listen to it!

If you want to know what I have been doing for the past six months or so, well, I've been working on other projects, and I've been travelling. I went to Japan, Paris, and all around Britain, including a few places featured in Trinity. I also went to the town that my book Changeling is based in, but that's a story for another website. Check the Portal page for new links!

And that's about it for now.

Is the year that I'm going to finish the second book, even if it kills me ... and so far I'm off to a shocking start. I haven't touched the second manucript in gods know how long, and have instead been busying myself with short pieces. To be fair, I have written an entire other manuscript in the past few months (which you can find on my writing website, under the title of Changeling. Check the Portal page for links )

So, the Shorts page here has two new pieces on it, the most recent of which is taking me in strange new places as far as the character of Braiden is concerned. But yeah, hopefully sometime soon I'll have an actual update on the second book to post on here! Finger's crossed, people!

Happy 7th Birthday Trinity!! ... even if I am two days late in posting anything. I had a good excuse, though. My best friend got married on the same day (Oct 2nd), I was a bridesmaid, and I was kept busy all weekend. After 19 hours of being awake and busy for the wedding, two early mornings, and 13 hours straight of sleeping, I am now back to my normal routine. Yay! And to celebrate, I whipped up a Little Something for you all to read. Hope you enjoy it, and thank you to everyone who has been a part of this project for 7 awesome years! ^_^

This site has had a big update. I've re-done the Trinity page, with details about the third draft. I've brought the entire site up to date with the current storyline, so please have a look around! The Excerpts page is full of pieces from the third draft, and the music player has a new song in it - Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson. Enjoy!

Yes, I've finally gotten back into my Trinity writing, and have started on the second book. So, there's a new quote up in the Misc page, as well as an updated Stats section on the same page.

I can now say that I have a whole Trinity manuscript done! I just finished the first book in the trilogy, A Twist Of Fate, and I couldn't be happier with it ^_^ I'm now looking forward to starting the second book, but in the meantime, I think I might try and complete some of my other projects. I love my Trinity characters, but I think, after two days straight of writing, that I need a break from them ^_<

Website wise, I have the completed stats for the first book, and a new quote up on the Misc page, and there are three new tracks in the music player over on the Music page. They're three tracks from the 3rd draft, but they are awesome songs, so go have a listen! The new ones are -

Just a quick blog post to say Happy New Year's, and welcome to 2010!!

I have a new short story up on the Shorts page, full of New Year's fun, so be sure to check it out!! I'm still plugging away at the 3rd drafts, and have a shiny new idea that is gonna make for an interesting addition to the book, so much fun is being had with that! Check the Misc page for updates on my progress!

So not much has been happening lately, but I do have a new quote up from my 3rd draft. I've also re-named a few pages around here, so the quotes can now be found on the "Misc" page. The music player has also been moved to a page of its own, and I have added a 3rd Drafts Stats section to the "Misc" page. I've been working periodically on chapter 6 lately, but I'm also having timeline issues. See, I have a nasty habit of not writing any timeline info down, so I lost track of what day/date I was on, and when certain events had to occur in relation to everything else. I've now gone back through and worked it all out, so I'm happy. Yay!

Today is October 2nd, which is the day that I celebrate the creation of Trinity. In actual fact, I started writing Trinity about a week or so before this date, but the 2nd was the day that the first story in the series went online, and is the only date that I actually have noted down. So, today is known as Cake Day for Trinity.

In honour of this day, I wrote this little drabble to say thank you to everyone who has been involved in the project. You guys are all fantastic, and deserve more thanks than I could ever give you!

On a webite note, I now have a premium membership here at Webs, so this site is now coming to you add-free! I've also been fixing up the look of some of the pages, and changing a few things around, so expect some new things to be popping up over the next few days.

Right now Webs, I hate you. I just had to sign up for a premium membership just so I could get some goddamn support! I can't believe they took away ticket submission for free members!! So not cool Webs! You left me with no choice, and now I'm really annoyed! All I wanted to do was find out how I set a password to my WebsID (as mine currently doesn't have one, meaning I can't use it) but their ticket support won't take free members anymore, and the open forums need you to sign in with a WebsID, WHICH I CAN'T DO!! And there's no other way to get in contact with anyone who can help, UNLESS I FORK OUT MONEY! I am so pissed, and they had so bloody well help me now that I've paid for a premium membership!

Seriously, so not happy Webs!!
