Happy New Year's!

Just a quick blog post to say Happy New Year's, and welcome to 2010!!

I have a new short story up on the Shorts page, full of New Year's fun, so be sure to check it out!! I'm still plugging away at the 3rd drafts, and have a shiny new idea that is gonna make for an interesting addition to the book, so much fun is being had with that! So not much has been happening lately, but I do have a new quote up from my 3rd draft. I've also re-named a few pages around here, so the quotes can now be found on the "Misc" page. The music player has also been moved to a page of its own, and I have added a 3rd Drafts Stats section to the "Misc" page. I've been working periodically on chapter 6 lately, but I'm also having timeline issues. See, I have a nasty habit of not writing any timeline info down, so I lost track of what day/date I was on, and when certain events had to occur in relation to everything else. I've now gone back through and worked it all out, so I'm happy. Yay!

Happy 6th Birthday, Trinity!

Today is October 2nd, which is the day that I celebrate the creation of Trinity. In actual fact, I started writing Trinity about a week or so before this date, but the 2nd was the day that the first story in the series went online, and is the only date that I actually have noted down. So, today is known as Cake Day for Trinity.

In honour of this day, I wrote this little drabble to say thank you to everyone who has been involved in the project. You guys are all fantastic, and deserve more thanks than I could ever give you!

On a webite note, I now have a premium membership here at Webs, so this site is now coming to you add-free! I've also been fixing up the look of some of the pages, and changing a few things around, so expect some new things to be popping up over the next few days.

Right now Webs, I hate you. I just had to sign up for a premium membership just so I could get some goddamn support! I can't believe they took away ticket submission for free members!! So not cool Webs! You left me with no choice, and now I'm really annoyed! All I wanted to do was find out how I set a password to my WebsID (as mine currently doesn't have one, meaning I can't use it) but their ticket support won't take free members anymore, and the open forums need you to sign in with a WebsID, WHICH I CAN'T DO!! And there's no other way to get in contact with anyone who can help, UNLESS I FORK OUT MONEY! I am so pissed, and they had so bloody well help me now that I've paid for a premium membership!

Seriously, so not happy Webs!!

A few new things to note: There is a new song in the player - Save You by Kelly Clarkson - and a new quote on the Fun Stuff page. I have just recently finished writing the first chapter of the 3rd draft, and the new quote is from that chapter, so if you want a sneak peak at something new and shiny, go check it out! I've decided that, from now on, all of the quotes are going to be from my latest draft, which I won't be sharing anywhere else, so this is the only place where you'll hear anything about it! Enjoy!

What's New

I haven't updated anything here for a while, but that doesn't mean I'm not still working on stuff. I've just finished writing a couple of new short stories for Fiction Press, and I am now about halfway through writing The Scarlet Crown, which I am enjoying! I have a quote from it up in the Fun Stuff page if you want a little piece of what I've been doing. It should be finished and ready to read in about a week. Yay!

As far as everything else goes, I'm preparing myself for the daunting task of planning out all of the details for the final draft of Trinity, going back to the good old pen and paper. It's a scary thought, but I want to have a clear idea of where I'm going, and a nice structured path to follow along the way. I'm trying to tighten the whole story up, so unnecessary tangents are getting cut. Actually, a lot is getting cut, but with that said, a lot is also getting added or changed, so I don't think I'm really shrinking it down that much to be honest. I don't know how many books it's gonna be yet, as I want to write it all first, and then decide. I'd still like a trilogy, but we'll see.

So yeah, that's the latest news from me! Oh, but one last thing: If you're an anime fan, check out the Portal page, as I have made a new site devoted to anime, manga, and the convention that I frequent in Sydney every year!

More Music & New Quote

So I seem to be on a roll with finding Trinity songs lately, as I've just added another two to the player - Empty Room by Marjorie Fair, and Once by Caleb Kane. In a first, I finally found a song that's just for Luke. Yay!

Also, a new quote has been added. I've been working hard on The Mortal Fate lately, with most of it planned out in my head already. I think I'm about halfway through the story now. Yay! When it's complete, it will be going online, and I will be putting links up in the Short Stories page, so keep an eye on this blog to hear when you can read it!

Portal

So, you may have noticed that there is now a new page on this site. Or you might not have. Which is why I'm writing this. The Portal page, as you might have guessed, contains a portal. Well, actually its an image with a link embedded into it, but still. Portal sounds cooler. So where does it go? To a brand new (and still being constructed) world. I'm not saying any more than that, so go and see for yourselves!

EDIT 11th May

So I've renamed a couple of pages. I got rid of the Snippets pages, and now have a 2nd Drafts and Short Stories pages. I think it's pretty self explainitary what both pages contain. Why the change? Work on second drafts has stopped, as I am now working on a new direction, and completely new beginning for the series. Therefore, I'm now writing 3rd drafts ^_^
